Description
Description
The SMA Sunny Tripower Smart Energy three-phase hybrid inverter family is designed for residential solar systems. The series includes 5, 6, 8, and 10 kW versions, with connection for a high-voltage lithium-ion battery and integrated backup function.
On the PV side, 2 independent MPP trackers are available. The maximum PV array power is 7.5–15 kWp, depending on the model. The MPP voltage range is 210–800 V, 250–800 V, 330–800 V, or 280–800 V, depending on the type, with a maximum DC input voltage of 1000 V. SMA ShadeFix shade management is an integrated function of the inverter.
The battery can be connected within a voltage range of 150–600 V. The maximum charge and discharge current is 30 A. The system supports the connection of one battery, and the actual charge and discharge power are also influenced by the type of battery used.
The backup output can be used to supply a separate load circuit in the event of a grid failure. The switchover time can be set between 30 ms and 10 s. The SMA Energy Meter is used for basic energy measurement and control functions, while the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is used for more advanced energy management control.
The housing has IP65 protection, and cooling is provided by natural convection. The typical noise level is 30 dB(A). Communication is available via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and BAT-CAN.
